Yesterday we went to Cheekwood Botanical Garden. They are hosting an outdoor (mostly) Chihuly exhibition. Let me tell you it was gorgeous. I was so kicking myself for waiting till the last week of this beautiful exhibition to go.
We of course in true home school fashion packed up all four kids and with sketch pads and colored pencils in hand, made our day of it. What a huge success. Even Benji (3.5 year old) drew several sketches.
The pictures below are the children's sketches as well as a photograph of the piece. I have to say, my photos do not do full justice to the beauty we saw. I mean these huge colorful pieces are made of glass
